The Lander Art Center was established in 2004 by a small group of passionate artists. This eclectic cohort envisioned an organization from which community could be built through artistic expression cultivated in a multitude of ways: exhibitions, classes, open studios, artist panels, artist residency programs, cultural development, and professional development designed to uplift and enrich the residents of Fremont County. Our mission is to educate and engage Fremont County in the arts through learning opportunities and exhibitions that foster a strong arts community.
