The Lander Art Center was established in 2004 by a small group of passionate artists. This eclectic cohort envisioned an organization from which community could be built through artistic expression cultivated in a multitude of ways: exhibitions, classes, open studios, artist panels, artist residency programs, cultural development, and professional development designed to uplift and enrich the residents of Fremont County.
| ![]() The Lander Art Center will be closed to the public through January 27 for light renovations and to prepare the gallery for our next exhibition “Reflection: the Art of Being” which will open on January 27th with the opening reception from 6-8pm. “Reflection: the Art of Being” remains an open call for all art artists and community members who use creative expression to interact with their mental health.
