Our mission is to engage our community's young people and adults in visual arts through quality exhibitions and learning opportunities that will support a strong arts community in Fremont County.

The Lander Art Center (LAC) is a nonprofit art organization located on Main Street in Lander, Wyoming. The LAC is a community-based organization working to foster a vibrant arts community in our county. We provide a wide variety of cultural and artistic opportunities to our rural residents through art exhibitions, events and education opportunities. Our gallery space showcases art exhibitions of local, regional and national artists changing every six to seven weeks.

The LAC organizes two signature art fairs; a summer art and music event, Riverfest Art and Music in the Park, and a winter arts fair, Art in the Afternoon that highlights local and regional artists.

Education is a main component of our mission. Year round art classes are offered to youth of all ages and adults from aspiring through professional. Classes widely range in artistic techniques and mediums.
