Block Printmaking Workshop

Instructor: Ginnie Madsen, Wyoming Rostered Artist

Carve and print from both linoleum and soft gel blocks. Learn to make a two color print using a simple registration method that Ginnie uses for her own prints. Come with several ideas or photos to work from or better yet work them into sketches in 2 colors if possible. We will work on 6” x 6” and 4” x 6” blocks, but larger or smaller are possible. Print using the Lander Art Center press and learn how to print without a press as well. All materials will be provided.
