Creative Minds: Session I: Figurative Sculpture

January 13 - March 3

Time: Tuesdays, 3:30 - 5:30 pm

Cost: $120 or $225 for two sessions

Instructor: Mati Snodgrass

The human form has been represented throughout art history. In this class students will have an opportunity to sculpt the figure using a variety materials, including grass, fabric, wood, and clay. Beginning with the Renaissance and the perfect human proportions, students will investigate the numerous movements that explored the human form. Take this opportunity to learn how to sculpt your own versions of the human figure.

***These sessions are open to students who have taken two or more after school classes at the Lander Art Center.
