Getting the Word Out: A Poetry Writing Workshop

We'll focus on everyday events and perceptions to prompt our poems; and do some writing exercises to propel our craft. An opportunity for the novice as well as the more practiced poet to write in good company, and to read work aloud, if you'd like.

Jazmyn McDonald has had poems published in Wyoming Fence Lines; Foreign Ground: Traveler's Tales; Times of Sorrow, Times of Grace and other anthologies. She's been awarded two national poetry contest prizes that paid cash.  She is working on her first collection, See What Happens.
