Learn how to saw, solder, rivet and enamel metal to make beautiful, original pieces of jewelry. This class will have two sections, each with 4 weeks of instruction and 4 weeks of studio time to put the knowledge and skills to use. The first section will include the basics, sawing, drilling, filing, and connecting pieces without soldering (no torch!).
The second section requires some knowledge of the skills from the first portion of the class or from another class. In this section students will learn how to use a torch, solder, create chains, solder a ring and bezel set stones or enameled pieces created in class.
