Creative Minds Block 2: STEAM

Students will create art every week with a specific science-based theme. Who knew you could use biology, chemistry, and physics to make beautiful art?

Students will learn/discuss basic scientific concept's behind that week's work, then be encouraged to experiment- both scientifically and creatively- with the materials to make a piece of art. Projects include: pH indicator watercolor painting, marker chromatography, pendulum and gravity acrylic painting, and polymer science jewelry
