Hone your craft! This is a foundation acting workshop for all levels. We focus on Shakespeare, but the tools can be applied to any text. From Word to Play provides actors, at any level of experience, practical and practicable means to inspired performances. Develop and transform into somebody else through text, becoming the character From Word to Play. Week Two: How to free the language to convey needs and emotions.

NOTE: Students, please bring a short monologue, 1-2 minutes, memorization not necessary. We will provide text as well.

Each class explores a different ‘tool’ for expanding focus, specificity, confidence & fun!

Class is open to students age 12 and up.
