Printing Press Basics: Operation and Care

Learn and experience necessary operaton and the many possibilities of the Lander Art Center's new Conrad Combination Printing Press. This workshop will show several techniques of the different types of printing methods that this press can produce. Materials and tools for the following processes will be demonstrated and students will pull samples for themselves. Metal plate intaglio, Wood cut, Linoleum cut, Polyester plate lithography, Traditional stone lithography, Monotype, Collagraph, Wood and Metal type.
