In life, we wear many masks - sometimes we grow tired of the one we show the most, many of us yearn to show something more true, and some of us know there’s something/someone even more vibrant and alive just under the surface. Join us in this two-part class where we will engage our imaginations, creativity, and messy-art-making selves to make masks of our actual faces using plaster-gauze while exploring our own personal inner and outer realities. Participants will be partnering up to make the masks, so this would be the ideal class to bring a friend to, or come solo and make a new friend! Well, this is Lander, most likely you’ll know the other participants! Wear clothes you can get messy in, tie your hair back, come without your “mask” of makeup. 18 and up.
